Killer Stingray!
While reading "The London Lite" on the tube to the lido I was horrified to see that a killer stingray has been sighted off the English coast. Thankfully not the south coast but these things can swim so we need to keep our eyes peeled!
We'll be swimming in relay for an hour each until we reach France. We'll leave Dover at some point in the week starting the 6th September (depending on weather and tides). Approximately 12 to 18 hours later we hope to have crossed the 22 miles between England and France.
None of us are serious swimmers, though some of us swam for clubs when we were younger. We are two auditors, one management consultant, two policy advisors and one IT consultant.
We're doing this for the hell of it and to raise money for several very good causes.

Last time we posted news about dangerous animals in the channel(Jellyfish) - I got attacked by one.
I hope blogging these potential misfortunes doesn't continue to tempt fate!
